Description: The threat status of forest ecosystems currently available in the Wellington Region according to the Singers Classification. The forests were assigned the categories according to the percentages of historic forest extents remaining: Critically endangered - < 10% remaining; Endangered - < 30% remaining; Vulnerable - < 50% remaining. The threats that each ecosystem type face are listed in the report "Forest ecosystems in the Wellington Region".
